Nathalie Collins is an artist currently living in Anchorage, Alaska. She has a MFA from Pratt Institute (2009) and a BFA from The school of the Art Institute of Chicago (2007). She has shown her work nationally and internationally, and has been on artist residencies in Ireland, Finland, Iceland, and the United States. Collins was also involved in a co-op art gallery in Bushwick, Brooklyn that aimed at supporting artists and bringing the local art community together.  Her work is a play among chance, intuition, and compulsion. Through the act of mark making, using drawn, painted, ripped and gouged paper Collins creates a world in which the viewer gets lost trying to make sense while never quite fully able to grasp what is happening.
